'Will Downing Soulful Sounds of Christmas' coming to Ovens Auditorium in Charlotte Nov. 17

CHARLOTTE, N.C. (Sept. 8, 2017) Ovens Auditorium will host "Will Downing Soulful Sounds of Christmas with Maysa Leak & Alex Bugnon" at 8 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 17, 2017. Tickets are on sale now and can be purchased online at Ticketmaster.com, by phone at 800-745-3000, at all Ticketmaster outlets or at the Bojangles' Coliseum Box Office located at 2700 E. Independence Blvd. Tickets are between $57 and $107 (plus applicable service charges) and are subject to change.

With a career that spans more than 27 years and 18 albums, Will Downing is one of the most versatile and loved voices of our time. His repertoire consists of signature interpretations of R&B classics like “I Go Crazy,” “Wishing On A Star” and “I Try,” with original hits “A Million Ways,” “Sorry I” and the show-stopping duet with Rachelle Ferrell, “Nothing Has Ever Felt Like This.” His distinctive baritone voice has resonated in the hearts of women worldwide and carved a unique niche in the music marketplace.

Joining Downing, Leak's unique, instantly identifiable vocal sound encompasses both jazz and R&B. Leak is a Grammy-nominated performer and celebrates her 25th year as a solo recording artist this year. Additionally, renowned jazz pianist Bugnon will round out the trio.
