Vocal Artist Johnny Mathis Coming to Ovens Auditorium in Charlotte March 31

CHARLOTTE, N.C. (Nov. 14, 2016) Ovens Auditorium will host Johnny Mathis and his Voice of Romance Tour on Friday, March 31, 2017, at 7 p.m. Tickets will go on sale Friday, Nov. 18 at 10 a.m. and can be purchased online at Ticketmaster.com, by phone at 800-745-3000, at all Ticketmaster outlets or at the Bojangles' Coliseum Box Office located at 2700 E. Independence Blvd. Tickets are $49 to $125 (plus applicable service charges) and are subject to change.

Celebrating 61 years in the music industry, Johnny Mathis is Columbia Records' longest-signed artist. An inspiring vocalist whose approach to pop music eclipses passing fads and trends, Mathis has performed songs in a variety of styles and categories — from music composed for stage and film to golden era jazz standards, contemporary pop hits and holiday music, all of which have assured his reputation as one of the most enduring vocalists in music history.
